FISMA

The Federal Information Security Management Act, FISMA, was established in January 2003 to produce several key security standards and guidelines required by Congressional legislation. They include: Standards for categorizing information and information systems by mission impact, standards for minimum security requirements for information and information systems, and guidance for selecting appropriate security controls for information systems.

Our training will provide guidance for assessing security controls in information systems and determining security control effectiveness, the security authorization of information systems, and monitoring the security controls and the security authorization of information systems. Prilock is currently designing its state-of-the-art training to meet compliance objectives while enhancing the learning experience and retention for the student.
