Mr. Hirning founded Prilock after representing the services of a Fortune 300 security engineering company known for its cyber security expertise and clients such as the White House, NSA, CIA, FBI, and Homeland Security. Mr. Hirning has more than 20 years of management and entrepreneurial experience in the computer technology industry, including product development, implementing sales and marketing deployment strategies for new products, and operations. He has experience developing and serving multiple distribution channels including federal, Fortune 500, national chains, and DRTV. He has negotiated corporate contracts with Sony, Warner Brothers, Disney, Costco, and Weyerhaeuser. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President of Network Defense Strategies, an internet security consultancy company representing SAIC, President and CEO of PhotoStar, a high tech startup which authored proprietary C++ and UNIX software and high volume systems to digitize print photos synched to copyrighted music in a real time; and Executive VP of Marketing & Sales for the commercial accounts division of an IBM/VAR supporting Fortune 200 clients in the Northwest.
Mr. Kennedy is currently Chief Network Scientist for Cloud Security at Intuit, where his focus is to architect a secure public cloud design to enable Intuit to leverage scalability in the public cloud. Previously, he was Assistant Vice President of Technology & Chief Engineer for the Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessment Group at SAIC’s Cyber Assurance Division. Mr. Kennedy holds Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information clearance from the U.S. Federal Government. His certifications include: CISSP-ISSAP, CISA, GCIH and GIAC. As engineering leader of the SAIC Penetration Testing Team involved in security assessments of major critical networks and systems, Mr. Kennedy was literally on the front line detecting and mitigating the newest sophisticated threats used against companies and individuals to steal credentials and gain access to classified systems. Additionally, Mr. Kennedy’s twenty-three years’ experience as a Unix System Administrator enables him to understand and relate to the challenges facing Prilock’s corporate and government accounts. Scott has an MS in Cyber Security/Information Assurance from NYU Polytechnic and experience in Computer Security, Penetration Testing, Incident Handling, and Computer Network Defense.
William A. Huff is currently Prilock’s Chief Financial Officer and maintains financial oversight of the company’s financial operations. Prior to joining Prilock, Mr. Huff was CFO for Underground Elephant, one of San Diego’s fastest growing companies, where he helped guide the company over 3 years through 3,000% growth in revenue. He has extensive experience helping successful companies scale internal financial and operational systems through exponential growth cycles. Mr. Huff registered and funded over $250 million in securitized assets while at First Interstate Financial Services and he has taken companies public while coordinating financial instruments used in the transaction. His leadership has advanced corporate entities into multimillion-dollar operations with successful growth strategies. Mr. Huff has also been contracted to do financial consulting and planning at Travelers Acceptance Corporation and Family Fitness Centers.
Mr. Brown is currently Chief Business Officer at Elcelyx Therapeutics. He was formerly a Senior Vice President at Amylin Pharmaceuticals. During his tenure, Amylin grew from 36 full-time employees and a market cap of $25 million to over 1,100 employees and a market cap of over $4 billion. Prior to joining Amylin, Mr. Brown was Director of Information Systems for Eli Lilly Europe. Prior to joining Lilly, Mr. Brown held various management positions with General Signal Corporation during a fourteen-year career. He earned his MBA at Drexel.
Mr. Kahn Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Economics & Mathematics from UCLA and an MBA from Wharton Graduate School with a major in Finance & Management. Mr. Kahn has over 25 years of successful multinational experience with Xerox, United Technologies, and ConAgra in the area of strategic and tactical planning and systems implementation. Mr. Kahn was recently director of International Finance for a NASDAQ traded pharmaceutical company that was recently sold, and he is currently Corporate Controller for Evans Manufacturing, Inc.
Mr. Bartoli is currently a Director of IT for Raytheon Photon Research, managing and securing classified research projects and communications on various platforms across multiple sites. He is also an Adjunct Professor teaching graduate level Computer Science at San Diego State University. Mr. Bartoli has led penetration-testing teams against diverse networks to find vulnerabilities and secure networks protecting high-value intellectual property. He has taught white hat hacking skills to security engineers and is an acknowledged and requested speaker on cyber threat awareness and avoidance best practices.
